Bigger spaces, going places

We’ve just been shortlisted for the Shell LiveWire entrepreneurial awards (the UK’s ‘hottest young business competition’), and there’s due to be a big gala in Manchester in May, where we’ll have the chance to win a great prize - so obviously our fingers are well and truly crossed for that.

Time Is Not Always Money

I can’t believe it’s the fifth of March already!

As usual I’ve been hugely busy. This week I’ve been preparing features and carrying out interviews for the next issue of Aesthetica, I’ve been interviewed myself as spokesperson for the York Literature Festival and I’ve been holding meetings to plan our new communications strategy.

Business and social life

When you start your own business you don’t realise how it can change your social life.

Over the past week, I’ve been multi-tasking all over the shop. I’ve written the Aesthetica Magazine audience development plan. I have been editing the new issue of Aesthetica Magazine (and selling advertising space too), as well as applying for funding for a new project that we are developing, which is an alternative fashion magazine for young women aged 16 to 19.
