Make noise, win business!

I met up with Asda now that they’re interested in our product (after years of trying they perhaps were swayed by our Sainsbury’s success!)
The Vitality Show caused a mass rush for the business, which was of course great, but it means that things have got rather hectic lately!
I was recently accosted in my local Post Office after featuring in a lifestyle piece in Elegance Magazine (incidentally the worst photo you’ll ever see of me).
We were interviewed yesterday by mergermarket.com. I took Paul (our new team member) along to see how I perform in interviews (as a training exercise), but the interviewer decided to interview Paul too. As a writer and journalist he needs no media training, and he coped admirably!
Last week’s award was great to receive, and I must admit we have spent our Venturefest winnings already. But you’ll be glad to hear that the money has been invested wisely (partly going towards a new and long-overdue laptop for the business).
Considering I wasn’t due to attend Venturefest 2007, it was pretty good day in the end! I won £1,000 and walked away with the Venturefest Innovation Central Award for the ‘most progressed innovation’ since last year. So my PR machine will be grinding that out, which is brilliant!
All the press we got last week has meant an incredibly busy week for me!
