Exploding
Exploding is an expression used with reference to the planning and scheduling of a project or projects.
The expression refers to the blowing apart of an activity, a job or a task so that its component parts are exposed in greater detail. This process of breaking up a project can help to define the task and give everybody a clearer idea of what exactly is going to happen at each stage of the process from initiation to completion. In other words it is about seeing all the miniscule details of a project rather than just the bigger picture.
