stickiness
A measure used to gauge the effectiveness of a website in retaining individual users. Every company wants their website to have a high stickiness factor.
Stickiness relates to how much time people spend on a
website. The word has been in use since the vast growth of web pages in the mid 1990s. Stickiness is often measured in the average minutes per month visitors spend at a site or network, or it can be measured in terms of page views. ‘Session stickiness’ is high on the agenda for any company, so time to stock up on the glue!
